Yes, the "Yellow Cat", "Op" and "Flathead" are all the same fish, just given a different name depending on what part of the state you are in!

Best eatin cat there is. Almost as good as crappie.

I went and caught me about 25 good bluegill yesterday for bait.
A couple of the gills were 6" and 7 ". If I can get back on the lake after this rain maybe I can be so lucky.

28 lbs...I'm pretty sure she was full of eggs so I let her go to breed and catch another day....had a few other smaller fish for the grease!
