Your pressure tank is water logged. Pm me your number and I can walk you through fixing it.

        Try This:

        Turn off breaker.
Turn on outside faucet and let run till water pressure begins to decrease.
Connect air hose and add until air starts to spit out of faucet.
Turn off water faucet and continue to add air until pressure gauge reads 20-25 pounds.
        Remove air hose.
        Turn breaker back on.
Pump will then take the pressure up to the proper pressure.

If you have a bladder type tank I think your bladder is ruptured

You want the air pressure to be 1 to 2 psi below your cut on pressure.

Try blowing out or cleaning the pressure switch contacts

seems the fitting that the pressure switch ties into, is also a check valve, and there was a check valve on the other side of the pressure switch....now, not knowing a check valve was pre-pressure switch, I just installed the one I could see. Thanks to Corn Sack, we got thing fixed...and he was doing this via text while hunting!!!! He is a good man for sure
