Kitchen ceiling remodeled using fence planks

I wasn't sure how this project would turn out but I went for it anyway. Originally I was going to use pallet wood since it's usually free, but I'm glad I decided to go with the planks instead. I was also able to replace the crappy fluorescent lighting to a nice chandelier over the island and canned lighting over the counters. What do you guys think?

Looks great. I went with Spanish Drag after I scrapped my popcorn off my ceiling in the living room, entry, kitchen and dining room. 67 gallons of mud later, i am done!
