We are not seeing many ourselves. We had a very wet spring but then from May-July we had very little rain and 53 days of 100+ days. Then more rain at the end of July and August. We think the does just couldn't keep up with the fawns.
We are seeing lots of fawns. Lots of twins as well. Tried to shoot a doe this weekend but every one I saw in range had a fawn or two. And the Nannys that didn't wouldn't comit.

We were really wet through May and still got over an inch in June and July. Our pasture had plenty of grass throughout the summer. We did have outstanding fawn crops the last 3 years though. Our ranch said our pasture had 34% fawn survival. We sat in several stands this weekend and probably didn't see 25%.
Went pretty good. Set up 3 new stands and moved 3 feeders around. My dad got a target deer on the ground and I wiped out the two mature cull deer that I was looking for. My uncle Tim smiled and told jokes. It was a great weekend
