I have not got any packs yet that are sharp as they should be. I have to sharpen all of em before I hunt with em. And they were Lutz steel. I should have my Grizz's in from Arrowsmith today. Maybe Hoot has improved it, I hope...

Several of you guys (Oscar ) who say you are shooting Standards are actually shooting 100 Mags. (1 1/8" cut). How do I know this? They came from me.

Very few people use the Standards (1" cut). I would say it breaks down like this. Out of 100 packs (last year before the Grizz and Razor) 93% 100 Mags., 5% 85's and 2% Standards which include both 100 Standards and 125 Standards.

Remember the 100 Mag is the original Slick Trick that cuts 1 1/8". It comes in 100 gr. and 125 gr.

The Standard cuts 1" and comes in 100 gr. and 125 gr.

The 85's cut 1" and the blades are slightly thinner at .030.

The new Grizz Trick cuts 1 1/4" which makes it the largest cutting 4 blade made and of course it cuts more lineal inches than than than ANY 3 blade fixed including the G5 Striker Mag.

The new Razor Trick is a cut on contact head that has an 1 1/8" main blade and a 7/8" bleeder.

So there is your Slick Trick 101 lesson for the evening.
