    Trailering a Polaris Ranger

This question is for the guys that have a Polaris Ranger with a front windshield and a rear windshield.

Do you guys recommend removing the windows or do you guys leave them in when they are on the trailer?

I have a glass flip up on my 2014 900xp with no rear window. I tow mine facing backward with the window in the up position, much less wind resistance. I have towed it facing forward with a custom thick cover to protect it from rocks/debris and coupled with the Triple C roof, it is a wind anchor.

I take mine off unless it is a short trip and not getting up to a high speed.

I have a fold down windshield that I've only trailered 2/3 times, but no issues yet. No back window.

I have front and rear on mine and left them on last time a pulled it.
          Didn't have any issues.

Have always left ours on for short and long trips. I've never towed it further than 300 miles but we have had no issues. Drive it up on the trailer, secure it, and go.

If you have a plastic roof then I'd remove the windshield to keep the upward flow of air when it hits the front windshield from damaging or ripping the roof off.

Leave the front and rear on when I tow mine, also.

I only have a front windshield, but I leave it on when I trailer mine.

Mine is only a half windshield.

Leaving them on will cost you 2 miles a gallon off your mpg.

I have a front windshield that folds down. I trailer facing forward with it folded down.

I have a half windshield...takes about 10 seconds to pop it off and 10 seconds to put it on. Would cost me about 200 to replace if it blows off.

                        I take mine off.

Jamie, I have a 900 crew, the back glass is solid and the front flips out/up. When I bought it the guys at the shop told me to back it on and lift the front windshield. So that is how I pull it and have had no problems.
