I was gonna say the exact same verse! My HS math teacher wrote, "Remember Matt. 6:33" in my annual. I was pretty sure that was from the Bible, so I went and looked it up. I was lost as a hoot-owl at the time, but since becoming a believer, that verse has become my favorite.
8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
James 1:12
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial for he who passes the test will be crowed with the gift of life, promised to those who love him.
Currently it would be Nahum 1:7, "The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows those who trust in him." It has helped me a lot recently. Kinda long story, but it's also the reason my dad got saved.
8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
this one always scared me and still does
Grab a copy of Pastor John Hagee's 4 Horses of the Apocolypse. Really explains the four horses in modern times!
