been to a few. some good...some a waste. It ain't like on TV. but it can be entertaining. Especially, if you let your son bid.

Agree. If you buy and take a couple hundred trips to the dump you may come across something good. Very hard to turn any sort of profit.

A watch out as a lot of them are rigged....meaning people who work at the storage place can also bid and since they know what's in them it's straight up cheating IMO.

I have a few relatives that used to go religiously and invited me a few times. They said the biggest thing they saw was an influx of people coming in and bidding really high after the TV shows started coming out. It really jacked up the whole thing and guys will now pay dollars on the penny hoping to strike it rich. You mostly lose money nowadays.

Don't know where you get rates like that, most units are at least $100 for a 10x10.
