    axcel accutouch help

I'm looking for a little help. I just bought a axcel accutouch 3 pin slider. had it installed and went to sight it in and the windage is way off. I just got my new bow on Friday and it has not been paper tuned but I can't see that putting me off by that much. I have the scope moved all the way to the right and the micro adjusted all the way to the right and still shooting about 4-6" to the right. Any suggestions on what going on??

I think there is a screw on the front of the sight that you can slide the whole housing over with. Kind of a gang adjustment before you hit the micro adjust. You might try that.

Yes sir, as far as I know I have everything moved over as far right as it goes.

Check the center shot on the rest.

Agree with above, rest must be off or a bunch of torque on the bow. If the bubble is level do the pins, string and center of the rest all line up? Should be pretty close.

good starting point on center shot if you haven't already set it, tape an arrow (or just hold it) on the riser just above the shelf, on a flat area. Nock an arrow and adjust rest until nocked arrow is parallel with the arrow taped to the riser.

I had my pro shop install the rest on Friday and I saw him put all the levels and stuff on there. I wish I know how to do all of that myself, but just have never learned. When I get home I will look at it myself and see if I can finger it out!

How far can you shoot at home? You can walk back tune or broadhead tune on your own and get the rest set. Walk tuning will show you if the center shot isn't right.

                  29 yards in the backyard

You could shoot a fixed blade and some field points at that distance and see how they look. Or, put a small aiming for at the target and shoot at 10-20-29 yds using your 20 yard pin. See if all the arrows hit the same vertical line.

Glad you got her fixed up! I have the same sight and have it sighted in to 40 yards. Need to work on my tape and accuclicks here in the next couple weeks. Have an axis hunt coming up in April.
