    Mesquite Bean Jelly

On a road trip, last week I found some...
Haven't seen any in years. It has to be the finest jelly on the planet.
But,the jar I bought, was weak on taste, and long on price..
Last time I had any. It was home made....And it was beyond describing.
    Anybody make it?

Never made any jelly but have made bread and muffins from mesquite bean flour. It has a natural sweetness and cinnamon flavor. Pretty good stuff.

There used to be a family friend that used to make it for me every year. She has passed away and I have not had any since. Nothing better than mesquite bean jelly unless it is homemade peach or apricot preserves.

We've got some right now. Ours came from that monastery out by christoval. Good stuff. Not too sweet. We put it on top of philly cream cheese and use crackers to scoop some up. Awesome appetizer.

I had a jar of mesquite bean jelly from a market in Wimberley a few years ago. Best jelly I've ever had.

Their bean jelly is pretty good, but I had a Mexican guy down in Fal that used to make the best I've ever had.

He passed away a few years back, but I would almost go thru the effort to try to make some if I knew it would turn out that good.

                              Thanks ya'll.....
The stuff I got, wasan't really the golden color,I've seen before.
But I was thrilled, just to find some....
I think, you could make a living, canning the stuff.
