          I don't care but just to be clear: I think most people overestimate the weight of a big hog.

              mine was weighed for a competition. That's how I know the weight. I would agree with you though. I have weighed a few and all of my guesses were too high. I have since obtained a better idea by looking at pics now. Take for instance if your hog had a full butt (like a 55gal drum) it would stack maybe another 20-30 lbs on it. I don't ever say a hog is 300 unless its dang close to the same size as a 55gal barrel.

                            I'm 6'0 230lbs. This guy was only 150lbs. Perspective is your friend.
