    Moxie Archery

Did a quick search on here but didn't see anything so here goes. I've been shooting a Moxie Valkyrie this past deer season and am absolutely in love with the bow! It's fast, quiet, forgiving, and I'm shooting better with it than any bow I've owned before.

I saw on ArcheryTalk that their new bow, the Fearce, is making some noise since in launched in January, and they'll have a booth at the TFAA Indoor Nationals in Waco, TX Feb 27 & 28th. I've gotta go to Houston this weekend so I can't check them out there, but I really want to get my hands on a Fearce! Has anyone shot one yet?

There is a dealer in round rock, if you want to make the trip.

I shot the Moxie Fearce at the Brownwood ASA Qualifier last week.

I liked it so much that I'm selling off a bunch of stuff to buy one. The shop I'm going through says it'll be 3 weeks before they get the one I want.

Amazing shooter! I'm very impressed with the quality and new limb pocket design. The bow is smooth and quiet with no rubber anywhere on it.

My dad just got his Fearce the other day, we were attempting to tune it and couldn't at all. Then we found the problem, they shimmed the cams incorrectly, in fact they shimmed them completely different from top to bottom. We laid an arrow on the cam and it was off by 1 inch or more at the d loop.

We had to call them yesterday and he said we were the 4th or 5th person who has called with this issue. Their new builder is apparently building them wrong!

They ended up telling us how the cams should be shimmed and we tore it down yesterday to try and correct it. After we moved the shims how they said the cam lean is still pretty bad, its still off by about a 1/2" probably.

They are suppose to be at Mesquite this weekend, so hopefully he can get it all fixed up, or money back.

But, I did shoot the Moxie bows at Paris ProAm and they are some sweet shooting bows, hopefully my dad can get worked out with them.

Did you end up getting with John at Mesquite?? My Fearce came out of the box perfect.

I was gonna update this thread but didn't get to it on Friday, after we moved the shims like they said its shooting much better. He is actually able to group his arrows now. He shot Mesquite on Saturday so I'm sure he talked with John about it. But for now moving the shims like they said seems to have fixed the issue.
