Title should be can't make this stuff up I lost my health insurance at the end of 2015. Had to sign up for Obamacare. 1st insurance co I picked turned out there was no a doctor in their "network" within in 5 miles of me in Round Rock Tx that I could even pronounce their name, much less my doctor. Canceled went with United Health Care.

Now I went on line registered and tried to pay my 1st premium and kept getting a error message so i couldn't pay online. Other choices auto draw from bank or call and pay by phone (no number given). Don't want auto pay so I emailed them that I was having trouble paying on line. this was yesterday. Today I get a e-mail telling me that until they can get the web site fixed I can pay by phone or auto pay. Already knew that.
Sent another e-mail asking what number do I need to call. Answer it is on the back of your ID card. Reply I don't have a ID card what number do I need to call. Are you ready.

Member ID cards are sent along with the Welcome Kit once the account is activated. Accounts become activated after initial payment is posted. The Welcome Kits usually arrive within 10 business days after activation. Some kind of stupid.

I went through that too. I called and finally talked to someone. It was pretty easy from there. Be patient. It's frustrating for everyone involved.

Tell them the payment was sent online and will become available when the account is activated after the membership packet is sent out and a phone number provided.

People day " such and such " is what's wrong with America. I'm guilty of it myself. But, by and large, I think what's wrong with America is the dumbing down that we have been subjected to for the last 30 years. We get nothing, therefore we expect nothing, or vise versa. Dealing with people who DO NOT CARE is the biggest frustration in my life.
