Looking between the new Omaha or mako for my son who is in coach pitch. Any reviews on either one? I know one is alloy and the other a composite. Thanks

Combat bats are great bats with lots of pop!

My 2 boys use the Combat Portent G3. I have bought several of them so far. If you do go composite make sure to keep the receipt. One of my Combats was cracked and I didnt notice until a week after the warranty ran out. Another cracked and it was replaced very quickly.
This will happen to ANY composite bat and not in anyway a knock on Combat. I just bought a new one last week. Just make sure to inspect any bat you get periodically.

I'm usually a big Easton fan but we bought the Mako a couple of years ago and I hated that bat. Im talking about the Orange one. If you spend the coin on the white Mako its a pretty good bat. I like the Louisvilles and would have bought one this year but my son wanted a Marucci. I ended up getting him the Hex Alloy and its a great bat. I prefer the alloys over the composite bats.

Omaha is pound for the pound the best bat on the market when you combine performance and value all rolled up into one. It gets play on 60% of my college campuses. I am a fan of an alloy bat over a composite bat as well.
