    Blocking front parking assist sensors?

    Can it be done?

Wife added a ranch hand to the front of her high country and they 'attempted' to re-aim the sensors. The two on the left seemed to have worked but the two on the right still vibrate the seat anytime you put the truck in drive (yes I'm aware of the button on the dash to disable it, looking for a permanent solution).

Surely with the vast knowledge of the GS someone has run into this...

Un plug the bumper harness where it meets the vehicle harness.

    You are welcome........

    Or un plug each sensor.......

So far research says and leads me to believe the instrument cluster will read "service parking sensors" if they are simply unplugged.

They unplugged them to install the new bumper. Just do it and see if it works. I know these first world problems are tough, but it's not gonna hurt anything to try it.

You might also try sticking a little square of electrical tape over the sensors, it worked for the ones on the rear of my truck.
