when you say custom, do you mean from a wood blank or a synthetic stock ? Shotgun or rifle ?
here is a wood stock I'm working on now which is 90% complete. Still have to do final sanding and add Permalyn oil to protect the English walnut. Chambered in 20 Killer Bee - 218 Bee necked down to 20 caliber with a 40* shoulder (Ackley). Rifle is a Cooper single shot with a HART barrel
If I were you, I'd go with a McMillan synthetic stock which IMO is the best stock out there. If money is tight, a HS Precision stock will also work.
here are several of my McMillan stocks based on my custom rifles
when you go with nice wood blank, it will cost alot of money
you can get a pre-inletted basic walnut blank that is nearly complete for roughly $100 to $250. You will have to final sand, add oil finish, checker, add pad, and bed rifle.
do a google search for gunstocks , i'm not at home right now but will PM you some info to research later tonight
