Ever used Select Blinds? (not hunting)

We're building our house and are looking to get 2" wood window blinds. I've only ever used fake wood blinds from Home depot before and was happy enough with them. HD's store brand "Hampton Bay" has real wood blinds that my wife likes (that's important) for what I'd call a good price, 34"Wx82"T at about $125.

"Select Blinds" who I heard advertisement about on "talk radio" are priced comparable to the Home Depot ones. I've seen quite a few bad reviews and BBB complaints on them though. Just curious if any TBHers have used Select Blinds or know anyone who has had a good or bad experience with them.

My wife is itching to start buying stuff and we won't even close for at least a month.

I am not familiar with Select but I have used Blinds.com and had a good experience. I had to replace blinds in 4 windows - we went with the "faux wood" blinds - quality is excellent. Good thing about that company is their 100% satisfaction guarantee - if you screw up on your measurements or decide on a different color they will replace them until you are happy.

I re-did our entire house with blinds.com and sure enough I screwed up measurements on 2 windows. I called them up and they shipped the new ones before I could even pack up the old ones. Good prices and great customer service.

I ordered Faux Wood for our new house and couldnt be happier with the product.

They offer discounts from time to time as well.

Problem with real wood is it can swell/shrink and warp. The Faux wood blinds I have look real. And they cost alot less too.

blinds.com will send you several samples for free.
