Old Bayonet To EDC Style Knife

I have been collecting old bayonets since I was kid, some worth money some not, and I have always been told that the steel in them was typically high quality. I have an older Turkish Mauser bayonet that isn't monetarily worth very much and was wondering if any of the many knife makers had used one of them to create/change into a different knife?

I'm not any help on making another knife..... But
I have a similar bayonet and use it to sabrage champagne bottles.

Well that's one idea..!!! I like it except I can't remember the last time I had champagne...lol
