    Box Blind Bow Window Help

In search for Windows for new bow blind build.... Or.... If you have a clean and effective way to build an window, please share. All help and ideas welcome. Doesn't have to be completely water tight as long as an eyebrow above the window would shed most rain.

I have about three blinds to build before this year. Going to make them large and lifted but must be bow friendly. Usually hunt with the kids so got to get them in close with there bows.

DeerView seems about affordable as making them. Plus and TBH sponsor

DeerView Window Company manufactures superior quality windows and doors for use in deer-stand and deer-blind applications -in both custom and standard sizes.

I have seen there product, but just for grins is there anyone else out there that has something to offer? Wish they had better pix of there products. Steel hinge or Aluminum? Sturdy or just top and bottom? I think I see a full frame around the glass.

Anyone have any experience with deerview?

You won't be sorry. Quality windows at a great price

I have two blinds with deerview windows and I wouldn't build another blind without them.

A piece of plexiglass with a strip of leather all the way across the top as a hinge. Put the pull rope on the outside coming back through a dbl hole (one on top of the other), tie a knot in it, pull through larger hole with smaller hole lower to hold knot. Easy Peasy

I used deerview windows and their doorframe kit on the blind I built last year and I will never build another blind and not use their products. The door frame is well worth the cost.

I don't have a picture but I like Plexiglas in a channel to slid up and tie off or clip. That way you can have your eyebrow and the window will not interfere with it and you can open it as much as you want.

Ok, just re-looked at the Deerview hinged window. Guess I was looking at the wrong series. Did not know you can mount then to open left and right, vertical in nature. Very affordable.

Next question: what is your favorite size? I hear the you really don't need as tall of a window as one would think.

                        Variables:

                        Box stand elevated 10'
Kids in stand shooting bow primarily but sometimes gun
                        Pentagon in shape
Thinking wither 6' or 7' cubed

                        Give me your thoughts!

I have deerview windowns in my bow blind and really like them. I just open the center window to shoot out of, the others stay closed. Really like them.
