Had a tow truck driver out of Houston tell me once he drives an Infiniti. I asked why and he said because he never tows them. Food for thought. No help with your suv but encouraging words for Infiniti.

Being very familiar with both, the engine in the Armada is lame for a SUV of this size. Qx56 engine at 400HP is excellent. They are both 5.6L, but the 317HP Armada engine can't keep up with anything in it's class. Also, the experience for the driver is much different due to the suspension and a 7 vs 5 speed transmission.
I feel the equation should also include the fact that one has a 4 year/60,000 mile warranty while the other has a 3 year/36,000.
Just my .02 if you are considering pre-owned vehicles.

We chose the QX60 for my wife. Have not had any issues in 2 years, and service is awesome. Get a loaner just for taking it in for an oil change, and tire rotation. Gas mileage could be better than they say, but ride is nice, and plenty of power. It will flat smoke the tires if you want it too! Crazy for a SUV.

I did not realize the difference in hp but from my experience it has never felt under powered. I pulled a trailer from Dallas to Whitefish Montana and it never missed a beat. Now the QX is definitely a much nicer truck. But with only 28 more lb-ft of torque and 600 less towing capacity I could not justify the extra $20k. I have been very pleased and I am sure you will be as well with the Infinity.

We have a 2012. Great vehicle and incredible ride. Tons of power and we are getting 17-18 mpg. Only problems we have had is that it seems to eat batteries. I think we are on #3 or 4. Sewell has always taken care of us. They have checked out the vehicle top to bottom and put us in a new SUV loaner during the process. We will probably buy another one when its time.
