    Extreme Sniper 3rd axis

Me and my son both have Extreme sights. We are very satisfied with them except for 1 thing.

    The 3rd axis.

Does Extreme make a solid extension rod w/o the 3rd axis? (Cant see their site from this computer.)

I have been thinking of filling the joint with epoxy if I cant come up with a better solution.

Not interested in buying a different sight.

I think the new rt line has no third axis adjustment, I just don't know if it will fit.

What problems are you having, I have a bunch of Extreme sights and have had no problem with the third axis adj.....

          It comes loose.

I dont want to use Loc-tite on it, cause I am scared that it mite strip. I have used a dab of Elmer's glue. That worked but is not a permanent fix.

i have the same sight and have had no problems, i just ordered the new sight and it doesn't have the 3rd axis because the fiber optics run trough the shaft.
i would think you could use a little loc tight and it should be alright.

Not sure if it would work, but have you tried a little plumbers tape on it? May be just enough to keep it from getting loose on ya.

That is, if it is a screw or something. I have no idea about that type of sight, my RT900 is very basic.

Those set screws are awful small too be wrappin them in tape.

Just think of how much you will save next time you need it, a little dab will do ya

Man, that is a tough one, what about a small lock washer? There has to be a way to fix it.

                          Thanks for your help, fellas!

I think I will try to fill the joint with epoxy.
