Anyone know the going rate for day laborers around Katy. I have a few projects I need some strong backs for.

I remember going to Conroe as a kid with my Pawpaw to get help for the day. He'd pull up and holler "Dos" of course cinco would pile in the truck and before you know it they were in a 5 way brawl over who got the work and "dos mas" would hop in while all that was going on we'd drive off. Good times

There is absolutely no way there could be that many around. The border is secure and Houston is not a sanctuary city.
I would talk to some neighbor kids (high school age) and get two or three of them. That is how I handled it the last time I needed some strong backs.
$80 each for 8 hours plus lunch OR $100 each flat rate. Whether they admit it or not, they are always looking for beer money or just that little extra. Plus no lost time for the language barrier.
