No. He's In San Antonio, doing HSE stuff. (According to LinkedIn) We went with him back in 2010. Not long after that he stopped guiding I beleive. I think some personal issues happned and he moved away.. That's who I would have suggested. He had a nice little place and set up. Caught me a 10lber when we went with him.

Jay watkins out of rockport, his son is also a guide so could help on the party of 10...he spends half his year guiding out of baffin

I fished with Preston this past weekend Friday and Saturday. Solid action for two days. No big fish but solid 3-4lbs. He is great to fish with and knows his stuff. Yesterday they caught them up to 5.5lbs.

Now the secrets out...Daniel catches more and bigger fish than anyone out there right now. I would book with him. That being said petereck or the blacks would be a good choice for a big group.

There have been several good recommendations on this thread, but I would not go with Pinter. Fished with him years ago and he cared more about him catching a big fish then his clients. He would pull up on a spot a tell us to wade out a certain direction from the boat. Once we were out wading, he would go the opposite direction. Then when we all got to the boat we asked why he went the other way and his response was there is a nice rock pile over there. I caught a 30" off of it 2 weeks ago. On another wade, we all get out of the boat making a slow wade out and here he comes barreling through us saying why are y'all moving so slow. I caught the fish farther out here yesterday.

Aubrey and Sally Black have the new lodge up and running. Great folks to fish with. With a group that size it would be perfect.

Fish with a guide that fishes Baffin year round. No offense to all the other guys from up the coast trying to make a living in Baffin every winter. The stories I could tell.

I tried to fish with Baffin Rod and Gun club and they wanted 750.00 for me to fish one day. Is that the going rate for most of these guys? I redfish a lot but not much of a trout guy. Wanted to wade Baffin for a shot at a big girl but thought I would pay closer to 500.00. Going to stick with my Reds.
