Went to the lease this weekend for quail hunting, camp clean up, feeder pin moving and just to get away.
We went to look at deer late in the evening on our wheat fields and there were very few deer. We found them across the county road on greener pastures. Our wheat was mowed down early by the cows. Our neighbor doesn't run cows on his wheat till mid Feb. Sorry for the bad video. I took it with my phone. You can't make out but about half the deer that were out there.

We also found the first sheds. It was a matching set.
We were mad at the hogs too. Ended up shooting 6 hogs. KAP
We showed our amazingly poor scatter gun skills by killing 14 birds out of 15 covey's that we found. Each covey had at least 15-25 birds in it.
We cleaned up around camp before snake time hits. We moved a feeder pin and set it up in a different location with both corn and protein feeders.
We enjoyed some fire's too.
