If you went wade fishing tomorrow, what would be your plan?

I'm wanting to wade on the coast tomorrow, looking for some opinions..

Where would you go? What would you look for, and what would you throw? I'd really like to find some trout. I've got some corkys.

    Thanks Alex🎣

I think you'd be better off wading on the bay side this time of year

Muddy bottom close to "deep" water. Look for an area with baitfish activity. I'd go mid day into the afternoon to let the sun warm the water. Corkies are always good winter time trout bait.

What part of the coast, upper, middle, lower?

This would be my advise. Wait till the water temp warms up around 10am or so.

Muddy bottom close to deeper water. Look for mullet. If you're not hell bent on wading, head up the Colorado River. I haven't been in a while but it was loaded with trout, and still should be.

I hear ya. Maybe my bud Bonesplitter (Brian) will chime in. He's a corky throwing son of a gun and gets on some big trout down there this time of year on East Side I believe.

I would be taking my yak but I'm bringing a couple friends that don't have one, I was thinking about matagorda. Use to see a lot of fish this time of year duck hunting the back lakes.

I'll be in Baffin in the morning. Wade every chance I can this time of year. I'll be throwing a top water until they quite biting, and then most likely a gambler

Stay in the boat, fish on the flat close to a channel or river and throw LSU cocahoes
