    Help with gun paint

So I bought this gun a few months back from a guy at the range that looks like he tried painting it himself, got an awesome deal for it with a vortex scope, he told me that he ment for it to be that way but the longer it sits in the safe the more it flakes off so obviously he just did a bad job, what can I use to get the paint off without ruining the plastic stock? I hadn't tried anything yet because I didn't wana ruin the stock, fortunately he didn't try painting anything else other than the stock.

Did you try just peeling it off? It looks like its already chipping.

It is slowly chipping off, but it takes a bit for a little more to come off and it's getting all over the bottom of my safe

Pressure washer will get most of it I bet. It would be the first thing I would try.
