I help people on a budget in the Del Rio area find bows I know they'll like.

The primary bow I look for is 2006-2008 Bowtech Allegiance. Fast/Forgiving/Quiet!!!

Fantastic bow still today... and will fit anyone with different modules. Bowtech Tribute is my second choice.

Thank you all! So this sounds like I need to do exactly what I did when buying my used truck in September, find what I want and wait for the right deal. Do any of you think I could get $300-$400 for my Diamond Rock?

Why not just buy a $300-400 Bear bow? Mine is a deer killin machine and didn't break the bank.

I have a stable full of elites all of which I bought used and with the exception of my GTO elite still services them

I've been shooting a $300 Browning Rage the past 10yrs, killing plenty deer, hogs and one black bear. It has gotten the task done so far.
Maybe a high end bow one day, if not, "I can't miss what I can't measure"!

That is definitely a good place to look for deals once you have decided on what you like. Be patient on there because if you are not in a hurry you can find incredible deals.
              Awesome!! You're that guy!!

Go shoot a Hoyt Powermax. $549 and a fantastic bow.

If you can get a 2015 Synergy for $595, I say go for it. I'd bet my last dollar that you'll love it but if you don't, you would easily get your money back in reselling it.

Well, I don't think I will be able to afford a new bow any time soon due to the fact that a new bare bow costs 800-1200 alone. So, my question is, if you cant shoot these bows, how do you know and decide what bow besides just looking at reviews? Matthews and Bowtech were my top two choices but I am really interested in Elite now too. Thanks in advance.

Also, what do yall think I could get for my 2008 Diamond Rock? New string put on in 2015. I think its a 29/70 or 30/70. Normal wear for an 8 year old bow.
Plenty of TBHers on here that would let you shoot their bows. My .02, I would stay with a Mathews Hoyt or Bowtec....Elite is old tech, more directly its old Bowtec tech. I just recently purchased a basically brand new Creed and purchased one last year also, both of them less than 200 shots, as far as Im concerned that's new.
