    Duck Mount Question

I've had a pintail in the freezer for about 3-4 years now. I guess I was thinking maybe I'll get a better one, but I never did.

Anyone know if it's still ok to get mounted? He has been wrapped in a towel since I put him in the freezer and not touched since.

    Thanks for any help.

is it in a self defrost freezer? look at its legs and feet you will be able to tell if it is freezer burnt and ruined.

Yes I believe it is. I dont think I can unwrap it without letting it thaw a bit.

Its going to be freezer burnt if you just wrapped it in a towel. To be kept that long it would need several layers of plastic.

Well darn... I guess I'll take it out in the next couple weeks and take it to a taxi. Just to get his thoughts on if it's salvageable.

            Thanks for the help guys.

Best bet there. My pintail was in the freezer for 3 years and I was afraid of freezer burn as well but taxi said it was fine with the way I had it packed haha.

Had it in pantyhose and 3 different 2 gallon freezer bags that I tried to suck as much air out of that I could.
