What will do us in will not be a new disease, but a pathogen that becomes super resistant to antibiotics. Those pathogens have been here for a very long time.

I did read where this disease has been confirmed in Dallas, and it was transmitted to a person sexually (infected person has been to Central America and caught it, then transmitted it to the other victim via intercourse). Now, if there is something transmitted that way, I could see a much wider outbreak lol!
