Post up pics of WT Mounts with the Form

I need to pick out a form/style that I want my daughter's first buck mounted pretty soon. I've looked at the taxidermy supply web sites and they don't exactly give you a good feel for what they will look like when finished.

Post up your whitetail shoulder mounts with the form manufacturer and model name/number if you know it.

I hate to say it but to me a mount that is full upright looking straight ahead with his ears out doesn't look good at all.
A semi upright with a slight turn and the ears positioned accordingly looks way better. JMO

Don't know the name or model of form, but this is an upright, right hand turn wall pedestal. Double Nickel in New Braunfels mounted it.Click image for larger version

The form will give you an idea of what it will look like, but the true magic is what happens when a good taxidermist knows what he is doing and will add to/sand down a form to make it look the best. I prefer the semi-sneak position with the ears in "alert". Looks the most natural to me. If I can get some time, I will post pics of mine. Frank McCarty in Lufkin does all of my mounts.

That part is covered. I just need to give Chance Love an idea of what I'm looking for.

False. That's a Ben Mears wall pedestal. But they are now owned by McKenzie.
