Replace a hose bib, yes. Fix this twisted copper pipe, unfortunately no I don't have the skills.

Had the same happen but not Copper, had to cut out the inside wall or you have to cut into the front of it unless it drops down from the attic and you could get to it. Still need someone to sweat it and soldier it

I have the tools, I have the talent, I don't have the proximity.

Need a roll of solder, some flux and a propane or butane torch. PM me if you want me to talk you through it.

Clean it til it's real nice and shiny.. Apply flux to both parts.. heat the fitting behind the joint, not the pipe. Keep tapping the solder right at the joint until it starts melting in, then you can remove your heat.. When the solder drips, I'd say you have enough..

1/2" pipe you may never have to move your heat, it'll fill all the way around, 3/4" and you'll have to move it around some to get it to suck in on all sides

Ain't gonna work if there's any water in there and beware of what you have behind your fire.. nothing to it

Or use something like this . . . Compression fitting.

You can do it it's pretty easy. My husband just gave me the blow torch and solder and told me not to burn the house down. seriously they sell the repair kits at Lowes . cut out the bad copper part get the replacement piece of copper positioned then turm on the torch hold the solder in the seam all the way around til you don't see the seam anymore .done.
Even a girl can do it.

Heat from underneath. Wet everything in the wall around it first.
