Looking for suggestions for a Sunday lunch in Longview. We have some of the best restaurant critics in the world on here and I know you guys won't steer me wrong!

Fisherman's Market or Butcher Shop. Then all of the common big name places.

Been a long time since I used to live there but Butcher shop and Bodacious BarbQue were always good. Carters BarbQue was also good but I don't know if they are still open.

Used to be a chinese place on Gilmer road that was kinda small that I really liked. Not sure if it is still open or not. My mil used to eat at Carlitos a lot when she lived up there. Mexican food.

Dave, what type of food do you prefer? Some good one's mentioned already, but Dudleys and Fisherman's Market are closed on Sunday.

              Here are a few:

              Copeland's of New Orleans
              BJ's Brewhouse
              Cajun Steamer
              Jucy's
              Butcher Shop
Chillum Grill- Mediterranean/Indian food (Have not tried, but heard good reviews)

We are open to whatever. We'd take a hand crafted local place over a chain though.

That BJ Brewhouse just opened and it stays packed. Burnadell, where's that Chilium or whatever?

BJ's or drive to Big Sandy for sea food or steak, and mud bugs, at Circle M. I almost forgot, COLD BEER!

Chillum Grill is on Hawkin's Parkway.

Dave the local owned places are generally closed on Sunday.

As mentioned, Carter's BBQ is good.

Carlito's Mexican is hit or miss.

Gonzalo's is small and excellent but closed on Sunday.

Duke's Fish Shack and T Blanco's Mexican on 322 in Lakeport are both excellent but closed on Sunday.

How about Country Tavern in Kilgore?

I love their brisket and potatoes.
