Had a Texas Ranger get a DUI over by Killeen recently, he was off duty but still not good.
Wonder how many DUIs these guys have written up while knowing they have been guilty of the same thing.

He could be mayor if he gets some crack.

Guess it finally got bad enough that the thin blue line wouldn't cover it up anymore. No telling how many people this guy's problems have affected.

Getting busted slurring speech and not making sense on the police radio is pretty sad. Hopefully the guy can get some help and recover from these issues.

They can push it off on him (and they should), he will lose his career, and the county prosecutor will go after him way harder than he would most other cases. That, in part, is due to the fact that they want to save face and make themselves look extremely tough on officers that screw up. Plus there's the violation of public trust to consider. When stuff like this happens, it makes ALL cops look bad. I can't tell you how many times I've been accused of doing something because the person I was dealing with had recently seen a news story about a cop doing something like this and suddenly we ALL do it. It angers me when I see this stuff. It makes the job tougher and moves LE in the wrong direction when it comes to our relationship with the public.
            Well said sir...

Definitely not good. Wonder how many of his cases/citations/arrests will be seriously scrutinized now............what a mess for the county.
