Does anyone have any knowledge on where I could sell a PDC drill bit, the kind used on a drilling rig? I was given one as payment and I don't know where to begin looking to get rid of it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It is a 12 1/4" Stellite body bit. It is brand new. Only company I know of around me is Hycalog, and I don't know if they would buy a bit since they make them.Comment

it just depends what kind of bit it is. PDC bits have been made for a long time, and they're bought and sold frequently, especially from over sea markets. It's a sales market over seas, it's a rental market in the states. we have like 87 people on this board that work/worked in the drill bit industry I think. LOLComment
