New Arkansas State Record Typical

I started a "guess the score" thread in Game Management when a friend of mine sent me a picture of this buck the day it was killed near his farm. Thought I'd share it on the main page since it's a really cool buck, and a record.

Ended up scoring 212 and netting 195 2/8". Beat the previous State record typical by 7" and is the largest typical ever killed in the south.

Awesome buck,& it always disappoints me to see an animal that majestic to be only honored with a tailgate pic and blood/tongue hanging off side of mouth. Guess i'm just different on this, but it really bothers me.

Ho-lee mo-lee Tonto--great buck for sure. But, I agree, no tongue hanging pictures. Cut the dang tongue off before you take the pictures--and do it with a nice natural background.

What an incredible monarch. Did he have any trailcam pics of the buck beforehand? Surely there must be some other photos of him with a good LDP. Congratulations to the hunter. I assume there is a writeup somewhere?

Saw all kinds of pictures floating around when I was home for Christmas. From the sounds of it from many different folks, sounds like it was killed not too far from where my grandparents lived. Very nice buck. Congrats to the hunter.
