    Coyote hunting tips?

I'm hoping to get out to my lease soon and try to take some yotes with the 204 varmint rifle. I typically find an open area where I can see a long ways and have the wind in my favor. I have a pretty nice electronic call and an electronic furry decoy that spins to imitate movement. I usually make my own blind out of natural material in the surroundings.

Are there any tips or tricks to have more success? Are the mornings or afternoons better? How long to try calling in one spot before moving to another? All info is appreciated...

Start off on low volume and slowly work it up. I try for a min of 15 min and max about 30. If you do get one in keep calling after the shot for a little bit. I will also change up the call sounds if nothing shows.

Do a search for predator hunting threads. There was 1 in particular that lasted for a long time that was very informative and covered almost every aspect. I'm sorry that I can't remember who posted it, but if you find it you will have all the info you need. Good Luck

I started researching coyote hunting and read texag93's post and am so excited about getting out there and hunting some yotes. I just finished an AR build which will be my go-to and am about to get a Foxpro and gun light. Super stoked about getting out there. We have a lot of coyotes on our place.
