    25-06 Ammo for Coyotes??

I just bought a 25-06 to be used for varmint hunting. To you 25-06 guys, what round do y'all use? I do not care about saving the hide, just want to drop them in their tracks!!

I shoot 100 grain corelokts for deer. I can't see a coyote making it far after soaking one of those up! Deer sure don't..

Plus, they're cheap as far as .25 ammo goes.

Anything a 25-06 spits out should drop them.

Was trying to upload a pic of what an 85gr Nosler BT does to a yote looking directly at you but the upload keeps failing.

I use the same loads I use for hogs or deer in my rifles
(.223, .243, .270. )Never worry about poi changing.

I am wanting a happy medium.

1..The most flat shooting. I don't know if its possible, but I want a round where I can kill a yote @ 100 to 300 without holding up on him. Don't know if this would be a 80g or 117g.
                      2. A round that will expand and not just blow right through.

If you don't care about the hides, use the cheap stuff.
