It does make good jerky. Also if you have ewe cook the hams and back strap in a crock pot all day until it is shredable mixed with barbecue sauce and served on sandwiches

I shot a young ram season before last. He really wasn't ll that bad. We did grind up a good bit, and did the backstrap like chicken fried steak. I thought it tasted pretty good. Maybe it has to do with diet? this one had been coming into a corn feeder quite regular. More similar to a fatted calf.

Auodad is good eating. It needs bled out in an ice chest for about 5 days, draining everyday and covered in ice, I've made burgers and all out of it and a buddy of mine said he wouldn't eat it, I talked him into eating a burger and he liked it enough to ask for some meat to take home. You got to bleed it. Same with boar hogs. Never ate a bad one.
