    Boat motor Titles?

Well, I had it posted in the classifieds but locked the thread. Guess I should post it back up.
Anyone looking for a small boat motor? [emoji3]

You can get a title pretty easily from the state, you need to say on the application for title that it was a gift. That's the most painless way to go about it. And yeah for the guy above w the 65, I have a 68, the state didn't issue titles for motors back then so yours would be grandfathered in. But you can register it and get a title for it as well.

I had a 6 hp I had not titled because I did not want to pay the sales tax.

I did have the paper work.

Received a warning ticket from the GW for no title.

He said that he would check in a few weeks to see if it was titled,

So I went to PWL and titled it.

I guess so, I just looked at my cards; both just for the hulls. I have been asked about the motor title though; do they call that in or what?

From what I understand if it's a 94' and under and or a 9.9 and under you don't need a title.

If all else fails.........A bill of sale might be the ticket.
