    Need a DFW diesel mech

Hey guys, I need a diesel mechanic around Arlington or somewhere close to DFW that is trustworthy. I am deployed in the ME right now and I am worried that someone might try to take advantage of my wife's lack of knowledge when it comes to this stuff. She got in my truck while hers was in the shop for warranty work and got the message you see in the attached picture. Only thing the dealership can tell me is that it could be a sensor, bad DEF tank, or just needing a manual regen. They gave me a range of $200-$2000 possible to fix the issue! Well, no doubt they would charge my wife the $2k if they can. I know there was a member here with a shop in Dallas, so if someone could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it. I would really like to drive my dang truck when I get home in about a month, so gotta get this fixed.

Truck is a '12 Chevy 2500 with Duramax. I think somewhere around 70k miles now and has been running like a champ until this. Thanks for the help in advance!

Red River Auto/4 wheel drive. Ryan and Misty are honest people. We go to church with them and I can assure you they'll do the right thing. Not to mention Ryan is good at what he does.

I had the same issue two weeks ago. Check engine came on, went and got it diagnosed and the truck threw a code saying the def tank temperature was off. Okay so I let it sit for a day because the truck was running fine. I hooked up to a heavier load for the truck and hauled the load about 30 miles and I know i worked the engine and my exhaust brake pretty hard. When i was taking the load back to it's home, I noticed the check engine light was off and I've had zero issues since. I could be wrong, but I think the truck fixed itself with that heavy load putting stress on those key parts that were having issues.
