Best emailing/texting game camera

Did some searching through old threads and it seems that Covert is at the top of the pack. Is that still the case? Also seen the SpyPoints, Bushnells, and HCO's. Are they any good?


We are with Verizon so how are the rates? Monthly fees?
Do yall prefer emails or text?


The places the camera's will go up will have 2-3 bars of LTE if they are the same as my phones reception.

Your cell plan won't matter with Covert. It has nothing to do with your cell service. Get the att version. It's $8 a month and can be set and ready in ten minutes. Comes with SIM card and everything so you never have to set foot in an att store.

What is the reaction time from pic to sent text? Is it quick enough for surveillance, or does it take a while?

I have 1 Covert on ATT. Everywhere I have put it except home has been hit or miss, even with extended range antenna. I get about 1/2 of what it takes

I have coverts, HCO and Reconyx cell cams. I think HCO is a little better than the covert and very easy to set up.

If I could get one for under $300 like I did my Coverts I would try one. But not worth the extra money IMO.

I paid $292 for my 2 coverts and a buddy found a smoking deal at $260 from a thread on TBH who found them that cheap
