First off I wanted to say thanks for all of the great tips and ideas I have received from the forum from being a lurker! I hope someone can help with my decision.
I am looking for a new, durable case for my Elite Spirit. I thought I was going to get the SKB Hunter, then my brother suggested I get the 4119 since he has had his for years and loves it. Then I thought it might just be worth the extra money to get a double bow case so my husband and I both get a new one and cut down on some extra bulk when travelling. Now to really complicate things, I read great things about the Lakewood cases. I like the way you can get the bow out without having to find the room to lay a case open. The SKB double case looks like there is just a layer of foam between bows, meaning you may have to take out one to get to the other. Not sure since I am just going off pics.
We mainly use the case to drive the three hours from our house to the lease and then it would be used to store the bow. We don't have any plans to fly with our bows but you never know. A majority of the time we are at the lease together but it wouldn't be a huge deal just to use the case for one bow if only one of us went (still not sure if I want my own or if it would be more simple to share). I would like to be able to store arrows inside the case too. Any thoughts either way? I haven't seen any of these in a shop so I am just relying on what I read and see online.
