Need full mattress and box spring, how much $

My son is getting bigger and needs to move up from a crib/daybed to a big boy bed. How much am I looking at spending for one? So many choices from different retailers. Any help appreciated.

I found mattress one had the best prices. They will negotiate. I bought a nice memory foam set for $425 last week.

I'm thinking a 2yo would do fine with a spring mattress. I'll see what they offer for that
