prayer request needed for an old friend

My buddy has been dealt a really bad card recently after end ending our conversation this evening its been wearing on me pretty bad trying to figure out what I can do to try to help him out. I will briefly say what happened without going into specific details simply because I don't want to hinder or harm him by putting this out here. Basically his pistol was stolen out of his vehicle and two people were murdered with the gun and now they are trying to pin it him! This is a Christian man that works for a living and provides for his family, now facing prison and going to lose everything he's ever worked for trying to fight this case. Prayers please and if anyone has suggestions on what to do to raise some funds to help him out let me know, I'm thinking benefit, fishing tourney, etc. I'm still in shock right now after hearing all the details of the story, it was grousom and sickening.
