I have a few times but its been cool so I've had my coat on a lot lately. Since open carry came I have seen several people carrying, one person asked me how it felt, he had a CHL but wasn't sure about open carry. It makes it more comfortable and you are more likely to carry if you are comfortable than if you are not.

1st time you open carry and you're standing next to two border patrol agents. I could barley see the thing you were so uncomfortable covering it up with your arm the way you were standing lmfao.

How can you tell that no one noticed?

No one pointed, stared, asked, walked away etc. Only people who might have is Joe Commando out looking for concealed carriers lol. But in all seriousness I can say it's been uneventful.

My experience is that generally people are clueless and more so if you don't advertise. My two cents, ymv.

Yea i wasnt doing it to show off like those yahoo's going to the state Capitol with AR-15s strapped to their back to make a statement, i was going to town for a quick bite to eat and get back to work at the land. When im at the land im always carrying. I thought i would try it and see how it felt. The valero store in Kirbyville was the first place i ever went open carry. The store workera didnt mind, they made some double takes but thats it. The customers however wouldnt take their eyes off me. I went there to eat then back to work. I will open carry on the road but until the newness of open carry dissipates, I'll CC my handgun when im out and about

Open-carry will be a nightmare for convenience store workers! Think about it- they don't know if you have a permit or if you are there to rob the place.

I did for a few days last week while hunting around Hebronville. I OC when we ate out and at a few gas stations and nobody seemed to even notice. I will not OC in the city as I don't want people freaking out but I do worry less about concealment.

Phase 4: Open carry is my right....but concealed carry makes a lot more sense. I'll just untuck this TBH shirt. It hides my gut anyway. I'll open carry tomorrow when I go to HEB. Lots of folks there.
