Now that the season has pretty much came to an end.. What's the plan for you experienced hunters out there that are on a strict management/feeding program? I am in the process of implementing a new feeding/management program on a family place and this is the first year I'm serious about it and can do it. I have corn feeding all year, protein, and water in the feed pens. Any extra information would be greatly appreciated.

ALl the protein I can now with corn only at hog spots and crank corn up Sept 1 and stop protein Nov 1

I forgot to add - Since my lease is 5 hours from the house, I plan to build/buy/steal some bigger capacity corn feeders. My protein feeders are 1500# and 3500# but corn feeders are 300#. I would sure like to minimize traffic in my hunting areas during season, so I'm wanting feeders that can hold 4 months worth of corn. That would be in the neighborhood of 850's.

Food plots - .5 to 2 ac, not square or circle. no right angles or straight lines in nature.
Think rough edges with cover inside the food plot. piled up trees. strips of natural tall grasses. Big bucks don't like exposure. Plant summer, fall, and winter annuals. Spring or fall plant perennials. Fruit trees around the edges of the food plot help to bring wary bucks in.
Bedding areas - Put your plot strategically close—from 100 to 200 yards—to prime doe bedding cover (e.g., grassy fields or areas with scattered cedars, pines, and honeysuckle), and twice that distance from thicker, more rugged and remote buck beds. A funnel with good cover leading from beds to feed seals the deal.
Pick good stand locations based on wind and sun location. Make sure the food plot site offers good stand trees for both bow and gun hunting. Look for potential staging areas to catch a buck waiting for dark to enter.
