want to borrow/try signal on ATT covert camera

I will be In the Nacogdoches/lufkin area this weekend and am wanting to see if anybody in the area has a covert or other ATT wireless camera that I can try out for a security camera on the front gate of my family property in Huntington. Cell phone signal is extremely spotty for sprint and ATT and a complete void for Verizon so we don't want to spend tons of money on one to not have it work.

Just wanting to see if I can borrow it for a day / meet with you for an hour to try the signal on it. Willing to give 20 bucks to cover any data charges/fees.

Thanks very much for any help!

evening bump, anybody use the ATT one in areas with low signal, do they work ok or do you need really strong signal?

Sorry don't have one to borrow. But if you have AT&T and you can get a signal on your cell phone the camera should work. I have found the cameras signal to be stronger than my cell phone.

I'm nowhere close to you, but I tend to get better signal on my camera than on my phone. Where my camera is set up, I get 1 or 2 bars on my iPhone, but get 3 or 4 bars on my covert. Hopefully you can try one out to make sure, but that has been my experience with the coverts.

Yes I have and do. I use the extended antenna to boost the signal with no issues. It has no signal with the original antenna and 2 bars with the booster. At times, I have no service on my cell phone when I sit in the popup within a few yards of the camera.

I am guessing you should have no problem using the booster antenna.
