To cover the wires. Take a piece of similar wood like the wood on the back. Hollow out the back of it with a router maybe, and hide the cords in there. Attach wood to wall and it will blend in.

Or get a hollow horn like a Kudu horn off ebay and put your wires inside it.

Jason, I think I could use an end table for my trophy room about 24 inches wide........lets talk next time you are in town. Don't know if you can make the wood portions match what I have now but could be a nice addition for extra display space and underneath storage.
