Needing a Knife Expert

I inherited this knife from my father. He has had it as long as I can remember. I do not know where he got it, I think he found it at an auction. I am looking for someone who may be able to tell me anything about it, what it may be worth, etc. Looking at it, it appears to be of middle eastern decent. Can anyone out there shed any light on this or point me in a direction where I may get some answers?
