    3 legged doe

I'm sure Someone has seen this before what's strange is that I've never seen her before. I've hunted here for 10 plus years and she just showed up in the last few days. Looks like it was surgically removed and completely healed.

My uncle cut a fawns leg off with a hay cutter and it looked just like that when it healed. That doe lived and stayed right behind his house for 10 or so years after that and eventually got bad arthritis in the other front shoulder. She did just fine with 3 legs for a long time. Crazy how tough they are.

Never seen that before but have seen a three and a half legged 10 pt. My buddy blew it's from right leg off at the knee. You'd think it would slow a deer down but not so much.

Videoed one around Artesia Wells back in the late 90's. Missing her leg at the knee joint. She would knock the crap out of a yearling with it, that kept trying to eat "her" corn.

I had a dog that had a front leg amputated. Once he got his balance he was faster without the fourth leg getting in the way.
